![]() Whether it be Janelle Monae's extravaganza at the Boom Boom Room, Diddy and The City Girls rapper Yung Miami's party, or even the Instagram Karl Lagerfeld celebration, there were many fashion looks way after the lights on the Met steps faded. The after parties alone are a second chance, but this time with a racier, less dress-code-strict assortment of sartorial serves. The Met Gala is the one night a year where we all get to collectively stare at our screens for hours, cosplaying as the finest fashion critics, selecting our favorite looks from the night. Stars like Emily Ratajkowski, Paloma Elsesser, and Rita Ora also gave us several pops of skin at their respective Met Gala after-parties. Kendall wasn't the only one showing some skin across the many parties happening all over the city. (Come on, Benito, join the fun next time!) The Puerto Rican star wore a brown coat, brown pants, and a white t-shirt while hitting the town with Kenny. She was accompanied by her rumored boyfriend, singer Bad Bunny, who wasn't nearly as naked. Model Kendall Jenner kicked the evening off in a Chanel '94 runway look that was completely sheer, worn under a matching black bra and high thong panty set. This year, sheer is again the leading trend for the late-night festivities. We first noticed this trend at the Met Gala 2022 after-parties, where celebrities dropped several layers for their nights out after the actual gala. On the red carpet, we saw our favorite celebrities wearing gowns made of tweed, pearls, and camellias - but at the Met Gala 2023 after-parties, they wore barely any clothes at all. This year, the Met Gala honored infamous designer Karl Lagerfeld. Cue: the Met Gala 2023 after-party looks. Fashion's biggest night wouldn't be complete without a ton of exclusive after-parties.
